My college roommate Joi was visiting, so she helped us out at preschool.
We learned about the letter R and practiced writing it.
During circle time we learned about President’s Day and the two presidents we honor. I told them a few facts about Abraham Lincoln and George Washington. We also talked about our current president, President Obama. I asked the children what the president of the
“Works hard.” – Gavin

“Tells us to obey the commandments.” –
“Tells us not to watch bad TV shows.” –
Our craft was to make an American Eagle. The children had a fun time flying them around when they were done.
I read the children the book, “Meet George Washington.” They learned a little more about our first president from it.
We also talked about quarters and pennies and looked at our presidents faces on them. We also did crayon rubbings from them.
We played follow the leader before our outside play time.
