Today was our introduction to colors. We named each color, matched colors, and named our favorite color. Then I showed them house primary colors make secondary colors using water and food color. They were pretty impressed.
Our craft was to create a “Cool Color Concentration” game. The kids got to glue and take home a game that they made. Hopefully you will all get a chance to play the game with your child. You play it just like memory.
We looked around the room to find things in certain colors. This was tough because instead of just telling me what they saw in the color, they wanted to bring it to me.J We also solved some riddles about colors.
After clean up, we drew rainbows with markers. Everyone did a great job!
