Today we learned how to write the letter C. Then we had our introduction to shapes. We sorted a big pile of shapes into piles of circles, triangles, squares, and rectangles. For our craft we made a “Shape City.” We split into two groups to do this project.

Everyone enjoyed bouncing different shapes on a sheet stretched between us. Then we played Hullaballoo the uses lots of shapes on the floor. We got to design our own picture by gluing shapes on piece of black construction paper. The girls liked doing that so much that they made two pictures. We finished our day by playing outside.
